Oklahoma State - UCONN Basketball Goes Down 74-64 Huskies + Baseball Update

Mike Boynton, Oklahoma State Basketball hangs on to UCONN but can't quite catch up. Congrats to the UCONN Huskies, BUT! Fouls on top of fouls on top of mini streaks. Obviously, fouls we're the story of the game for the Cowboy's, and the Huskies in a round a bout way. I VERY RARELY could give 13 hoots about fouls & penatlies. They happen, 24/7, All Day everyday in every sport, so it is what it is. But yes, for sure this game specifically had the odd element of just a D1 game of tag with Usain Bolt & Tyson Gay accidently on the other side. It just didn't work out in our favor this go round, but the evidence is clear that this group is in fact capable of pulling enough string's to make a run, at something. The cut line for the N.I.T. & The Dance that is March Madness is fairly slim, but the Big 12 Bump is a real thing. So this testing is crucial early on! Kalib Boone drops 15, Avery Anderson helps out with 14, Moussa Cissa was effective while playing but was often in unfortunate foul trouble. Caleb Asberry showed some confident development behind the arc, Bryce had a nice step back game for a while. We just have to play a full 40 minutes. Again.

Baseball is off to a promising look. With the D1 Top100 #22 Player in America Cowboy & Long Beach transfer Juaron Watts-Brown manning the bump this season alonside fellow Freshman All American #33 ranked Roc Riggio, #56 ranked Nolan McLean is a walking double barreled expose with a fire-arm attached to his shoulder! Marcus Brown also jumps in on this action at #81. This Big 12 leading 4-some Top 100 Squad could very well Strike up the Gap Band AND shut the opposition down from matching both sides. Joing the party as potential Big 12 & beyond candidates like Aiden Meola, Carson Benge, Zach Ehrhard, Jaxon Crull, Ian Daugherty, Bayden Root, Brennan Phillips, Chase Adkinson, Brant Hogue, Luke Fernandez & Riley Taylor can silence the tension of needing to make a Big 12 Title run in Stillwater Oklahoma's Massive Endeavor O'Brate Stadium.
