Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy has talent. Even if it's not currently in the common sense/coaching department he still has it on the field & in the locker rooms below Boone Pickens Stadium. The traditional question of 'but is he capable of extracting it anymore' is too easy and quite frankly unnecessary right now. Instead, the question should be 'are the players capable of extracting it from themselves or one another still'. I would love nothing more than to stand proudly on the Oklahoma State table to give you a resoundingly positive YES! Unfortunately I can't do that in this particular situation. Fortunately, the guys chasing the paper & paper degrees are the only ones that can answer that question this time around. I no longer know what to feel, my eyes have deceived me once already this year so I'll be damned if I'm ready to jump back out so far over those bold rough waters again quite yet. Until I see something from some certain group of someone's wearing the pads covered in Jerseys, I might stay blinded. It doesn't however blind my ability to see that's it's still possible & plausible that Iowa State gets the wrath of us carrying a bigger stick this time around on the Ames Iowa playground.
