Yes we had arguably the greatest of all time in the sport of Softball Michele Smith bless us in the 80's alongside the Legendary Sandy Fischer. But this feels different because it is different. Winning National Championship #53 is a legitimate possibility. Right here, right now in Stillwater Oklahoma! Oklahoma Softball is still the juggernaut of the sport in any capacity, but that gap has closed significantly. So significantly in fact that for maybe the 1st time ever we match up player for player, position for position. Can Kelly Maxwell, Lexi Kilfoyl, Kyra Aycock & Ivy Rosenberry carry a Giant Slayer ERA? Can Kiley Naomi, Rachel Becker & Chyenne Factor carry the long ball long past the Lady Sooners in 2023? It's all very possible!
