Locked On Magic 06.04.18: Playing it safe with Steve Clifford

The Orlando Magic hired Steve Clifford. He was not the biggest name on the market or a name that got many fans excited. With a weekend to settle down and truly analyze the move it becomes clear what Orlando was looking for:

The team wanted someone with experience building a culture and growing a team. The Magic have a lot of growing to do obviously, But Clifford's proven track record should be a bright spot for Orlando.

Clifford may not be the coach to lead the Magic to a championship. But Orlando is far away from that anyway. Right now, the goal is to get back to respectability. And Clifford has proven he can deliver.
