The NBA has suspended the 2020 season after a player tested positive for the coronavirus and COVID-19. The league likely hoped it could continue operating without fans in the building to create some sense of normalcy for the public. But with the reality of the disease now infecting NBA players, they made the right call to limit exposure for everyone and shutting down for at least a little while.
