Can the Calgary Flames CLAW their way out of the low scoring woes

The Calgary Flames finished second to last in scoring last season. With the likes of Matthew Tkachuk and Johnny Gaudreau no longer carrying the Flames offense, it is up to players like Jonathan Huberdeau and Nazem Kadri to pick up where they left off three years ago. Unfortunately, that isn't possible. How can the Flames properly develop young stars when there is very limited room for them in the line up? Can they take a page out of the San Jose Sharks book and trade off some veterans? Does headcoach Ryan Huska have a longer leash than previous Flames coaches like Geoff Ward?
