Calgary Flames lose 3-1 in sloppy affair to New York Rangers

The Calgary Flames dropped a frustrating game 3-1 to the New York Rangers on Tuesday night in an entirely winnable contest. While the Flames didn't play terribly, the team's sloppy mistakes ended up in the back of the net two separate times on New York power plays which effectively sealed Calgary's fate. While the season is still young and the Flames are clearly working through the kinks of a new coach, the lingering frustration from last year's poor season is hanging over the team like a black cloud which might boil over into a full on rain storm.
