A Failure to Launch in 6-2 Loss Against Detroit Red Wings

Dylan Larkin's Detroit Red Wings put out the Flames in a 6-2 win. The Calgary Flames fell short and let the mistakes pile up. Dan Vladar struggled in net allowing six goals while the offense was nowhere to be found. Detroit was on the second half of a back to back and danced circles around the Flames. Every single one of the Flames weaknesses were exposed. There is no reason for Dustin Wolf to be sitting in the AHL. The Flames have a decision to make and they have to make to get out in front of this slide. Craig Conroy's hands off approach did not do anyone any favors this summer. Trading Dillon Dube and Dan Vladar are the next things on the to do list. Rasmus Andersson's suspension is being appealed by the NHLPA. Conroy came out in full support of his player.
