Celtics POSTCAST- Tatum Drops 30 in Win over Magic

The Celtics once again avoid a 2nd straight loss for only the 2nd time this season with Friday night's (121-94) win over the Orlando Magic at TD Garden.  The Celtics had 3 players with 20 or more Points and 4 players in Double-Figures.  Celtics are 29-12 at the mid-point of the Regular Season.

#'s of the Night:  The Celtics are now 10-0 on the season when holding the opposing team below 100 points.  The 27-point win was the Celtics 11th win by 20 or more on the season.  Jayson Tatum scored a game-high 30.  Kristaps Porzingis had 23 points and was 7-for-10 from the field.  Jaylen Brown scored 20 and also had 6 rebounds and 6 assists.  Derrick White scored 12.

1st Half Nuggets:  The Celtics went 5-for-5 on 3's and led by 7, 35-28, after the 1st Quarter.  Jayson Tatum scored 15 Points in the 2nd Quarter and had 20 Points at the Half.  Celtics knocked down 9 of their 15 3-Point attempts in the 1st Half.  Kristaps Porzingis had 11 in the opening quarter and 14 in the 1st Half.

Up Next: The Celtics are back at it Saturday as they host the Atlanta Hawks.  The Celtics won by 30 at Atlanta on November 4 and lost by 1 at home to the Hawks on November 12.  After Saturday, the Celtics play 7 of their next 9 on the road.  The Celtics open up a 4-Game Trip against the Golden State Warriors on Martin Luther King Jr Day Monday in San Francisco.
