Wendell Carter Jr. 2021-22 Season Review + Paolo Banchero Drafted No. 1 Overall

JJ Jackson chats with Philip Rossman-Reich of Locked On Magic about the past season for former Duke MBB star Wendell Carter Jr. and the Orlando Magic drafting Paolo Banchero with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. Back in late June, Banchero became the fifth Duke Men's Basketball player to be selected No. 1 overall in the NBA Draft joining Art Heyman, Elton Brand, Kyrie Irving and Zion Williamson. Banchero will start his NBA career with the Magic, where he recently shined playing in Las Vegas at NBA Summer League.

Wendell Carter Jr. concluded his first full season with the Orlando Magic averaging 15 points and 10.5 rebounds per game. Carter Jr. was the No. 7 overall pick by the Chicago Bulls back in the 2018 NBA Draft after spending one season playing college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils. Carter Jr. was traded to the Magic back in March of 2021 and greatly benefited from a fresh start.
