Portland Trail Blazers bounce back with two blowout wins over the Dallas Mavericks

The Portland Trail Blazers swept the Dallas Mavericks over the weekend, blowing out the shorthanded Mavs in back to back home victories. Damian Lillard has scored 30 in five straight games and the offense is starting to find its groove behind their star point guard.

Gary Payton looked solid over the weekend, Nassir Little returned to the lineup after missing six weeks, and suddenly the Blazers have competent bench competitors. It's amazing what a team with seven NBA players can accomplish.

So now at 21-22 the Blazers are imperfect but still easily within striking distance of fifth place in the West and avoiding the play-in round. It's weird to type this, but they're in a good spot. Seriously.
