NBA prospects to watch at the 2022 Nike Hoop Summit

The best basketball players in the world under the age of 19 will be Portland this week taking part in the Nike Hoop Summit at the Moda Center on April 8.

Reggie Walker, the promoter and director of the Nike Hoop Summit, joins the show talk about the event which has featured 14 No. 1 NBA draft picks over the years. Prospects to watch to include Dereck Lively, Kyle Filipowski, Keyonte George, Kel'el Ware and Dillon Mitchell on the Team USA roster. International prospects of note include Jean Montero, MaKenzie Mgbako and Mike Sharavjamts.

Reggie also shares the stories of legendary Nike Hoop Summit practices in which 16-year old Payton Pritchard turned heads of NBA scouts and high school senior Kevin Porter Jr. dominated against Team USA as part of the scout team.

It's a fun event and a chance to see top NBA players in Portland a year or so ahead of their debuts in the league.
