Damian Lillard signs $122 million extension, Shaedon Sharpe will miss the rest of summer League + Jabari Walker can play

Damian Lillard inked a two-year, $122 million contract extension to keep him under contract with the Portland Trail Blazers for five more seasons through the 2026-27 season. The long-term commitment from both sides signals that both team and player want Lillard to go down as the greatest Blazers player in franchise history.

Plus, Shaedon Sharpe has a labrum tear in his left shoulder that will keep him out for the remainder of summer league in Las Vegas.

But luckily for the Blazers, their other rookie, Jabari Walker, looks like a legit find in the second round and might be playing his way to a full NBA contract.
