The Big Ten conference stayed undefeated in the bowl season Thursday with Minnesota's win over Syracuse in the Pinstripe Bowl. The Gophers jumped out to an early lead and never trailed to the Orange, as Minnesota denied Syracuse of winning its third Pinstripe Bowl in Yankee Stadium. Tanner Morgan got his storybook ending at quarterback for the Gophers, and PJ Fleck completed his third straight nine-win season when Minnesota plays a full schedule.
