Liz Abzug, the daughter of feminist icon and former New York Representative Bella Abzug, spoke with Local Switchboard host Jordan Gass-Poore’ during the summer about running her mom’s political campaigns, being the first open lesbian to run for a New York City council seat in 1991, and the ways she’s continuing her mom’s legacy.
