To the best of our knowledge, there’s nothing today’s guest can’t do. He is a singer/songwriter, environmental advocate, a teacher, a watercolor artist, and he can eat an entire apple… that’s right, core and all. We are, of course, talking about Brett Dennen.

Over the past 20 years, Brett has made himself a staple in the folk music scene, touring relentlessly and releasing hit records including 2006’s “So Much More.” Brett has shared stages with the likes of John Mayer, Jason Mraz, and Daryl Hall.

His mission is simple– to gather like-minded music fans to consistently try to make the world a better place.

In this interview we discuss grappling with grief through art, Paul Simon, timeless songs, how Troy (unintentionally) left Brett hanging as an opening act, concentric-circle touring, and mediocre mandolin playing.

Brett’s latest release, “If It Takes Forever,” is available to stream or download wherever you consume music. Physical copies are available at Brett’s official website: BrettDennen.live.
