If you’ve been following my travels on social media … you will have seen the beautiful beach-front hotel I stayed in … in Senga Bay. When you look at the video, you would almost forget that Malawi is a landlocked country … the sand … definitely giving you the impression that you are at the beach.
The warmth and feelings of wellness I got just from being there … is something I cannot describe because you have to feel it. If you’ve ever laid under Afrikan or Caribbean sun … you’ll know about the experiences and feelings of wellness I’m talking about.
How many times have you said … or have you heard people say … that when they are at home (meaning … visiting a lovely warm country of their family) … that, suddenly their aches and pains go away! That, suddenly, they feel at peace in their mind and their soul feels happy.
In this week’s episode, I take a look at the healing power of Afrika in relation to my personal and community experiences of healing, using a report that came out about how Rwandan practitioners use traditional healing methods called “Sun, drum, dance, community”, to treat depression.
