It’s important to be a valuable part of a community. But ask yourself, how much of what you're bringing to the table is about what other people want from you rather than what you want to give.
Are you doing things for validation or are you creating from a place that's self-validating? Meaning, you love what you’re producing, achieving, living, and doing for yourself first.
Prioritizing other people’s expectations at work or home, or even with strangers, is the fastest way to stifle our joy and real purpose. It can make achieving milestones and goals feel not so great because maybe they aren't the goals we want to achieve in the first place.
Today I'm joined by career and leadership coach and TEDx speaker, Lena Athena, to talk about how we can tap into our personal value system to get unstuck and move into the freedom of meeting goals that align with our purpose.
