Summary:   The rising number of new coronavirus cases in the United States are no longer described as a spike, but as a surge. Much of this surge could have been prevented, lives could have been saved, and our economic recovery could have been on more solid ground. We need open hearts that receive the surge of the Holy Spirit to produce the love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control that are the fruit (outcome) of the Holy Spirit.
