Summary:    There is nowhere in the Bible that Christians are shown how to be the government or even the majority culture. Our role is instead to be like salt and light and leaven, transformational agents as long as we maintain our true character as the people of God.  It is to call the government to seek the common good in a Sinful world, and the Church to be and work toward the already but not yet Kingdom of God in the person and power of the Holy Spirit.
