Summary: Jesus speaks of living water as a metaphor for the Holy Spirit in his conversation with the Samaritan women at the well in John 4:7-14. That same Holy Spirit connects us with one another in a community througfh our common relationship with God, the relationship we call "faith". We may be isolated, but we are not alone.
