Summary: The pomegranate, as a symbol, reminds us that the abundant life Jesus came to give is eternal. That is, it is both here and now and forever. Like a cracked-open pomegranate, Jesus was broken and poured out so that all who believe and are baptized will be saved. This is our eternal witness for these uncertain times.
