127 Dependence Day

   Summary:  We celebrate our national Independence Day on July 4th, the anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence from the colonial rule of Great Britain. Christians celebrate their dependence day every day. We are dependent upon God for all things and in our dependence, we receive freedom from sin, death, and from all the forces that defy God. Through God’s sacrifice on the cross and not by our own efforts or strength we receive eternal life that truly is life.
