Dr. Mark Ernst, IDOA State Veterinarian on the monitoring H5N1 influenza in dairy cattle and the new requirements that went to effect yesterday, April 29, that mandates testing of for interstate movement of dairy cattle as well as mandatory reporting of positive results to limit the spread of the disease.
