How to master Synthwave Music With WAVES PLUGINS | Live Electronic Music Tutorial 086

Episode 86 features a mastering session by Mikas on his song Aura, the song genre is mainly synthwave with breakbeats drums. The master was prepared in 32 bits at 96000KHZ for maximum headroom and flexibility.

We begin the session with applying some gain using the auto gain function of our Renaissance equalizer, we then use the VEQ4 to slightly boost the bass signal, we start adding character at this point. We then continue with a L2 ultramaximizer applying 2 DB of gain.
