How to make Progressive House ᕦ(ò_óˇ) from scratch | Live Electronic Music Tutorial 125

For Episode 125 Mikas is producing a classic progressive house song in Logic Pro x using only internal plugins and audio audio processors. We begin by setting up the DAW to 126BPM.

We start from absolute scratch and discover the new Logic Pro X 10.5 Functions while we start programming the drums and are able to tune every drum to the song root key and edit the sample with the new sample editor.

We then lay down a bassline using the Alchemy synth, we then edit the presets and sidechain the bass to the main kick drum to pump it up. Moving on we add some plucks that will be set atop the bassline, for this we will use the sculpture synth. After adding a delay we have the effect we were looking for.
