How to make melodic techno ⚫ | Live Electronic Music Tutorial 118

In episode 118 we make a progressive techno song using only Logic Pro X plugins and sound processors. We will start the song from absolute scratch.

We begin by programming a kick drum using Logic Pro X Drum machine Designer, and start working on the bass right away. Using Logic Pro X Alchemy we find a patch that fits our techno ambitions. We then record MIDI onto the sequencer and get to edit the MIDI to create our rolling bassline. We then work on some sound design to make this one a thumper.

Next we add some pad stabs and other melodic elements to enrich our song. Moving on we record a smooth pad and create a haunting side to the track. Moving on we add some melodic plucks to accentuate the song groove.
