How to make Melodic Techno 2021 | Live Electronic Music Tutorial 119

For episode 119 we will make a Melodic Techno song in Logic Pro X using only internal plugins and audio processors.

We begin from absolute scratch using no loops or MIDI! To kick this one off we create a low thumpy bass line using the keyboard musical typing. After recording our MIDI we process and engineer the sound to fit our idea of techno music production.

Afterward we work on the percussion, some sound design is done to the elements so we get the feel we are looking for. Once we laid the percussion groove we moved on to the melodic part of our techno song with a Brass sound. Recording a simple midi we then add some automation to the reverb effect to create extra movement and a cool transaction effect.
