Did you know there are an estimated 40 MILLION victims of human trafficking globally? It’s modern-day slavery, and it’s believed to be the third-largest criminal activity in the world. This is not something that only happens in some distant part of the world. This nightmare exists here in your own backyard! Sadly only 1 out of every 100 individuals trafficked will be rescued.

In this episode, Jeff and Tierney welcome Shauna Sexton, one of the rescued, to share her powerful story of survival and how she became an agent for changing that statistic. Shauna suffered horrific experiences at the hands of her trafficker, but God redeemed her story, and she now serves as the Programs Director for Phoenix Dream Center, the largest human trafficking rescue and rehabilitation operation in the nation! She was also the recipient of the Stop Traffic Walk Honored Hero Award in 2021.
