Summary:
Walking in the overflow of the Holy Spirit is a key to a overcoming life. Our hungering and thirsting after the Lord opens the door as the Spirit of God within us makes the Word living in our hearts and then we begin to overflow as fountains of living water. You are giving God His voice to all the world.
Show Notes:
We can't play with a walk with God and expect to walk in a overcoming life.
Our overflow is perfected by God through the Holy Spirit; His voice speaking through us.
Communing with the Lord is the answer to ministering out of the overflow.
Christ made this principle so easy by being our example.
Hungering and thirsting after the Lord opens the door to the overflow.
Words are either empty or freighted with the Holy Spirit.
As the Spirit of God makes the Word living within us, we become the fountains of the overflow of His Word.
Quotes:
Think you can play with this walk with God, that you can sing along in the spirit and prophesy and have experience now and then, and you will overcome the world by that; you are badly mistaken.
Communing with the Lord is the answer to the fullness, to receiving the fullness.
Ministering out of the overflow of what God's doing in your life is so easy. God designed it that way. And Jesus was the example. We look to the Lord, and we draw.
The flow of His life, the anointing, whatever you want to call it. It issues from the Word living in us and being alive in us.
The Living Word only becomes living, if the Spirit of God makes it living.
Words, your words. It's what those words are freighted with. That makes all the difference in the world, the overflow. That's what the Holy Spirit is doing.
What is the overflow? It's an overflow of what God has transferred to you. You are now filled and you're ministering out of the overflow.
The overflow, you could say it's the Holy Spirit. But you could also say, a man that has been thirsty and hungering for the Word of God. It becomes so living within him that it overflows.
The greater works come out of the overflow, the greater works are to become a way of life for us.

Jeremiah 29:12-14
Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. 14 I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive.
John 7:37-39
On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. 38 Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” 39 By this he meant the Spirit whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

Take Away:
Being filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit in our lives is the key to walking an overcoming life. As His Spirit overflows in us it makes His Word living and sharper that any two edged sword. As we speak that Word out of the fullness of God within us, we have entered into the greater works that God predestined for us to walk in today. This becomes a way of life for us.
