Romans 6:11, 13
11 Even so consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
13 and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of
unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and
your members as instruments of righteousness to God.

Romans 8:10
10 If Christ is in you, though the body is dead because of sin, yet the spirit is alive
because of righteousness.

Genesis 2:16,17
16 The LORD God commanded the man, saying, “From any tree of the garden you
may eat freely; 17 but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not
eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.”

Genesis 3:23, 24
23 therefore the LORD God sent him out from the garden of Eden, to cultivate the
ground from which he was taken. 24 So He drove the man out; and at the east of
the garden of Eden He stationed the cherubim and the flaming sword which turned
every direction to guard the way to the tree of life.

Acts 1:4, 5
4 Gathering them together, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to
wait for what the Father had promised, “Which,” He said, “you heard of from Me;
5 for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not
many days from now.”

John 14:26
26 “But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will
teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to you.

Romans 12:14
14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.

Take Away:
