Summary:
Is there a process to becoming God ’s friend?
God places before us relationships to use in order to bring about His will in us.
As we give in or submit to His will for us, this is choosing to be His friend.
Show Notes:
• A relationship is like sand paper or rocks in a tumbler, taking off the ‘rough edges’
• “My command is that you love each other as I have loved you.”
• Everything is a choice, where will we place ours?
• “What you do to the least of these My brethren”
• It is our choice as He will not cross our will to force us
References:
This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you.
Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends.
You are My friends if you do what I command you.
No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you.
“ For whoever does the will of God, he is My brother and sister and mother.”
“ The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these my brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
