SUMMARY:
Standing in the presence of the Lord brings true worship. It's not the sense of feeling good that motivates, but it's the yearning of a person's heart to love Him.
The revelation from the Lord reveals that He wants to be more than anything else in a person's life. His command expresses it: “to love Me with all your heart, all your mind and all your strength.”
SHOW NOTES:
The worship of this new day is not necessarily lifting our hands and singing, but a revelation of Jesus Christ coming forth in the earth.
The Kingdom of God is not a reasonable concept; it has to be revealed by revelation.
Just as in the Old Testament times, the high priest washed before going into His presence, we need to prepare our spirits by receiving the blood of Christ.
Spending time to wait on the Lord and to get into His Word are practical steps to prepare to be in His presence.
Let the Word wash over your spirit, believing for His revelation to come beyond your understanding.
QUOTATIONS:
The revelation worship is coming by a revelation of Jesus Christ; He is
revealed to us, in us, that we're becoming worship to God.
This revelation worship is a state of being more than it is a mechanic.
The goal in our worship is to stand in His presence.
The high priest never came into the presence of the Lord until he first washed—by the blood of Christ.
We are washed by the water of the Word, then you can come into His presence.
This worship that we're talking about is the most personal thing that can ever be, because it's completely related to our relationship to the Lord. It's a revelation of Jesus Christ in us and out of it, flows worship. It's not only in us, but also in His body.
REFERENCES:
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
But when He, the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is the come.
Through Him then, let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips, that give thanks to His name.
Let them give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkindness, and for His wonders to the sons of men! Let them also offer sacrifices of thanksgiving, and tell of His works with joyful singing.
Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
And they sang a new song, saying, “Worthy are You to take the book and break its seals; for You were slain and purchased for God with Your blood, men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.”
And He said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.”
TAKE AWAY:
Revelation worship really can't be explained; it has to be experienced. Now is the time to have an expectation and and anticipation in our spirits to have this meeting with the Lord. Out of this time in His presence, we can have a deeper relationship with Christ and His body.
