108. How Do I Know Which Words My Child Should Be Reading?

Has this ever happened to you...

You think your child should know how to read a simple 2 letter word, but when you ask them, they get it wrong.

Why does this happen?

Children learn to read words in a very specific order.

As parents of kindergarteners, we need to understand this order so we know which words our children should be able to read independently (and which words have more advanced phonics skills).

I know you want your child to grow into a strong reader and speller this year, but that requires YOU knowing how to help them on their journey.

Keep listening to learn the order of phonics skills your child will most likely learn in kindergarten so you can best support them on their reading journey.
