Deputy Mayor Gatewood talks city’s response to teen takeovers this summer

Garien Gatewood, Deputy Mayor of Community Safety, joins Lisa Dent and Steve Bertrand to talk about the city’s response to the teen trends (a.k.a. teen takeovers) over this summer. After a surge in teen trends in April and May, Deputy Mayor Gatewood shares that the city has prevented ‘so many’ potential events by communicating with the organizers and working alongside the Chicago Police Department.
