Like It Is For Her

I wanted to start by giving you a little rundown of exactly what Like It Is For Her podcast is all about and what you can expect as you keep listening. l created this audio diary out of a need to want to talk about things like they are. I feel like when I became a woman there were plenty of things that weren't talked about or weren't deemed appropriate to talk about and I want to break free from that completely! I really want Like It Is to be LIKE IT IS so we're going to dive deep into motherhood, marriage, sex, depression and mental health amongst other topics. All of the conversations that, as a little girl growing up, I didn't feel comfortable to talk about it because nobody around me was talking about those things and I feel like if there would have been a more free open space to be able to talk about those things then maybe a lot of the trauma or mental health issues would have been managed better. I know it is possible that what I struggled with wouldn't necessarily have happened or at least they would have happened in a way where I could understand better now . I'm not saying that everything in your life is meant to be perfect and butterflies because that's absolutely opposite from what I'm talking about here. I know that whatever you have been through up until this point is for a reason it has made you stronger and you have survived all the things now up to this point. It's time for you to gain that confidence so that you can truly step up and heal and feel like you can be yourself unapologetically. My hope for this space is that it can bring you peace of mind to do exactly that because on the other side of a woman that is healed and confident and happy and joyous and grateful is the best life possible for her and for everyone that she loves! I'm so excited to take this journey together. Welcome again, to like it is for her and let's dive in!
