Glad Tidings of Great Joy

As we ponder the significance of the Scriptures that testify of Jesus (Jn. 5:39), Including the shepherds, wise men, the manger, the star, Bethlehem, and more, in out it causes us to behold the Lamb of God Who takes away the sins of the world (Jn. 1:29). When we begin to understand this Child Who was born unto us, this Son Who was given unto us (Is. 9:6-7) we will appreciate the Words of the angel who proclaimed to the priestly shepherds, "...I bring you glad tidings of great joy which will be to all people!" (Lk. 2:10).

What is more the Spirit of the Lord has anointed us to bring this same glad tidings of great joy to all people (Is. 6:1-3). How will the world call on Him in Whom they have not believed? How shall they believe in Him of Whom they have not heard? How shall they hear unless we preach these glad tidings of great joy to all people (Rom. 10:14-15). How beautiful are the feet of Him, who brings glad tidings of great joy to all people (Is. 52:7).
