Episode 4 of Light on Leeds features not one, but two times BAFTA winner Mark Catley.
Mark is a two times BAFTA winning writer and producer and has written for Casualty, Eastender, Coronation Street and much more. He was the first writer to be commissioned by the West Yorkshire Playhouse (as it was then) as part of the BBC’s New Writing schemes, Northern Exposure.
Mark is involved with Slung Low Shorts which is a night of 6 new plays written by both experienced and emerging writers at the Holbeck WMC, Leeds. Next performance is 18th July 2019.
This week the music comes from is the superb Chris Helme formally of The Seahorses fame. Check out his track Closer Now.
Jess Penn was the engineer and Will Gurrey was the producer.
