Do you believe that you can build your dream team, one that cares as much about your business as you do?

And that maybe just maybe you can hire people who do the things that you think you do best, better than you? 

It's been a goal of mine for several years to build my dream team. 

You know the type of high-performing, high trust team that will help me on my aim to build a million dollar revenue business by the end of 2023.

Yet the biggest mindset shift for me to do this, has been to get out of the way, and relinquish control, surrender to trusting people I bring into my business and their skills.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only entrepreneur who struggles with letting go, and handing your baby over!

The other thing you need to know, before you start hiring team members, is your best return on investment and your superpowers. 

Ask yourself:

  • What do I do best, that only I can do?
  • What can I give up and delegate?
  • What needs to change in order to scale?
  • Do I need these people in-house or can I outsource

 

I've been hiring people since 2012 and I can tell you, it's been a journey. I've had over 40 contractors and freelancers in that time, perhaps more. 

 

Sometimes I've hired the best people, and sometimes I've made big mistakes - hiring too fast, and failing to fire fast too.

 

But I'm always learning the lesson, improving my processes, on-boarding, systems and communications. And this year, I'm really being more intentional with how I go about building my dream team.

 

So I'm sharing it ALL on this podcast episode, and letting you in on my thoughts for how you can go about building your dream team, without the drama and headaches, and instead, from a place of certainty and flow.
