One thing useful that has come out of the current stay-at-home directives, in our states and provinces, is that it’s brought us to take a closer look at the nature of worship. Gathering for worship in God’s House on a Sunday morning may have been something that we took for granted. All that changed when we we were required to move to “virtual worship.” Thanks to social media and technology we have gathered in front of our televisions and computer screens to worship remotely from our living rooms. And, of course, it feels different. But why is that?
