About the Guest – David Paris is a seven-time cabaret dance champion, a finalist on America’s Got Talent, and co-director of the acrobatic dance company Paradizo Dance with Zoë Klein. He has performed in over 100 dance congresses around the world and has produced 13 instructional videos in latin dance and partner acrobatics. David Paris is the director of Social Emotional Learning at Middle School 88 in Brooklyn and has been teaching in New York City since 1993. He is a life coach with Strategic Intervention, a facilitator of Non-Violent Communication with NYCNVC.org, a classroom trainer with Outward Bound, and a circle keeper with Planning Change. David Paris is the author of four books for adolescents and creator of social emotional learning curriculum for schools.
The majority of this episode will be discussing David’s newest book, A COVID STORY. David unfortunately contracted COVID in March of 2020 and was hospitalized for 88 days and was in a medically induced coma for 32 days. Needless to say, David’s life journey has been altered and today, we get to be the beneficiaries of his new found perspective.
