038: Dear 24-year-old self, your excuses are sacrificing relationships

“I never moved work things to create room for my family. I was always moving family things to create room for work. I started to realize that my family was getting my excuses. Nobody at work was getting my excuses.” -Tiffany

You told your family you’ll be home by six o’clock only to show up at seven. Immediately you launch into all the reasons why you’re late. “Someone stopped by my office,” “There was a presentation I needed to finish,” “I had a client meeting that went over.” Whatever the case may be.
