In this episode, I sat down with Rina & flow, the founders of Sisterwould. Sisterwould is a beauty brand that specialises in hair products. Working with Vision Australia, they had Braille included on their packaging and placed an emphasis on the sensory experience, including tactile ingredients to help with the differentiation between products.
The brand originated due to both the girls having family members that were vision-impaired and struggled to differentiate between shampoo and conditioner. This led Flo & Rina down a rabbit hole, conducting market-research over a 3-year period. They got an understanding for just how many people suffered with this problem all over the world.
After three years of product research and development and many iterations the two finally launched the brand in 2022, and since then has garnered worldwide attention, Sisterwould continues to flourish, going from strength to strength. This remarkable brand not only caters to the diverse needs of its customers but also serves as an inspiring for all young women entrepreneurs.
