Chris Pordon had a great career in politics and was "living the life" in New York City. In his late twenties, he felt unsatisfied and longed for more. He decided to cast his "dream" life aside and took a professional sabbatical. For two years, he backpacked his way around Europe. The he "hit the lottery" by landing a great job that allowed him to live and work anywhere.
