Alison Sawyer Current and her husband Jeff moved to Mexico in 2001, built their dream home complete with a potter's studio for her. Little did she know that her concern for the local animals with turn in to her life's passion. Since then her non-profit "Isla Animals" has spayed and neutered over 20,000 cats and dogs and facilitated thousands of adoptions.
