The ability to make clear, potentially unpopular decisions is part of maturity and leadership.... It's part of growing up in life. on Earth.
To clearly and confidently let our "YES", mean "YES".
In the same way let our "No", mean "No".
Being clear and direct can be a real challenge for some of us.
We need the confidence that comes from having a strong "backbone".
Who we trust in and hang out with helps in the weakening or the strengthening of our hope/backbone.
It is also an area that sometimes requires some difficult situations where communication may not be received nicely.
Some people love conflict.
I don't care for it.
However, I would rather deal with the shame and not the pain(kind of like a good old fart... lol).
Some folks will try to shame us into being afraid.
The crippling pain of fear is no joke.
Next time conflict or compromise arises and knocks on your door let the Holy Spirit answer it with you and fill your mouth with the Truth!
