Being beaten over the head by a book is an abusive act if not a criminal one.
Yet, people get beaten over the head by men and women who do so with their mouths using the Bible.
The abusive, harsh, legalistic words that come from the very mouths that are entrusted to speak the truth is absolutely wrong.
Our hearts go out to anyone who has ever been spiritually abused.
You are not crazy and you're not alone.
We say all of that because we are entering into a portion of the Bible that has been misused for centuries and is still being handled like a billy club.
Ephesian chapters 5 & 6 contain some of the best insights to living that have ever been written.
No wonder they have been twisted to hurt people.
The Devil wants to keep people in bondage.
He will even try misusing the very Word of Life in order to do so.
We are going to pull the mask off the religious pride of evil and set the hearts and minds of men, women, and children around the world... In the mighty name of Yeshua Hamasiach/Jesus Christ our LORD!
