"Doing the stuff" can often seem mundane and quite practical. 
Like gladly helping out your fellow believer by periodically, happily, watching their children for a few hours, so they can get some rest (or whatever).
No charge and without bragging about it to others.
Changing the oil for a single mom.
Free, with no strings attached.
Opening the car door for your wife.
Naturally and consistantly especially when noone else is looking.
Paying for your fellow believers lunch.
Just for fun and provide a big tip when you leave.
You get the point.
God doesn't need us to advertise His love.
He wants us to demonstrate His love in everything we do.
Especially to others in the family of God!
So that the world may see for themselves the love of God in motion and say "I want and need what you have."
