Once again, the late Corrie ten Boom, said it best concerning our relationship with God and His refining process of life when she said, "Don't Wrestle, Nestle."
Cease striving and surrender.
We are not called or designed to be autonomous from God.
We are called to be in union, communion, together with Him.
We become pure as we surrender to His drawing us closer to Him, into His loving embrace.
He helps us in the process if we allow him to be our Helper and our Guide.
We can't purify our own hearts.
It takes God working with us.
We don't need to be afraid even though it is our natural tendancy.
We need to submit, surrender and trust God.
In the process of being drawn closer we get purified.
It can't be helped if we don't fight it and resist it.
Becoming afraid or rebellious only prolongs and complicates things for us.
God wants to purify us so that we can live in His Presence, not just visit it or watch it from a distance.
