I used to think that hope was kind of like wishful thinking or some consolation prize for those who didn't win "The Real Prize".
"I sure hope that money comes today."
"Well, I know you didn't win the game. But, we can hope that next time things will be better.."
Hope is much more powerful than that.
In fact, the word "Hope" in the ancient Hebrew language is probably the best, most accurate definition of "Hope"
The word for hope is "tiqvati" and it means "to have very certain and strong confidence in something not yet seen to become visible and real."
To be very certain in something and having strong confodence in the provision being made real to you by God even though it is still invisible.
Hope isn't believing in chance or hoping for good luck.
Hope is living in strong certainty and bold confidence in God Being our Source of all good things that are currently still invisible yet to be manifest to us by Him
